Public Service Announcment: In-N-Out Has Hot Chilies
I was reading Chowhound the other day and discovered someone mentioning that one of their favorite burgers was the “In-N-Out, whole grill with chilies”. I’d known for a long time that In-N-Out had a secret menu and have been enjoying my burgers “animal style” almost exclusively. I knew about “whole grill”, (referring to the onions not being chopped up when grilled) but how had I not heard that they served hot chilies? I even mentioned this to a bunch of my friends, most of whom grew up in L.A. and have been patronizing In-N-Out since they were kids. They had no idea either.
I immediately went to my nearest In-N-Out, conveniently located three blocks from my house, and ordered a double-double, animal style, with those wonderful, spicy little yellow chilies. About a week later, I returned to confirm my suspicions: it’s delicious. So spread the word. In-N-Out has chilies. I just thought everyone should know.
